After successfully tendering for Trafford House – a large office complex, a stone’s throw away from Basildon’s busy commuter railway station – Texo Scaffolding were contracted to supply scaffolding to ensure the safe removal and refurbishment of the building that was to be transformed into residential flats.
Due to the size of the project, we elected to erect and remove the scaffolding in five phases. This saved the client unnecessary hire costs and ensured work was constant and cost effective.
The complex design required to undertake the work was further complicated by the need for strategically placed debris shoots for external and internal waste materials to be moved off site in a timely and safe manner. These were purpose built and met all the Health and Safety requirements ensuring the safety of workers using the sight.
