This project in the heart of London required Texo Scaffolding to play an instrumental role in the refurbishment of the empty property being prepared as high-end offices.
Holborn is a heavily populated area and the extremely limited space surrounding the building footprint was our biggest and most testing challenge as we set about installing a 26.0m Gantry to the St Andrew Street elevation.
Our on-site team implemented a pedestrian traffic management system and set up exclusion zones to segregate members of the public and the work area.
Internally, we installed large crash decks on every level of the building due to demolition works on floor slabs.
"The major part of this contract was carried out at weekends due to the high density of traffic and footfall in the area. The vicinity has a number of other building projects being carried out so the number one brief was…minimalise distruption.
